30 Black Satellites Called Up for Training Camp

Coach Desmond Ofei and his technical team are gearing up for a rigorous training camp as they continue preparations for the upcoming African Games in March. Thirty promising players have received invitations to report to the Ghanaman Centre of Excellence at Prampram, a pivotal step in the quest to assemble a competitive squad for the prestigious tournament.

The Technical Centre in Prampram has been a hive of activity, with Coach Desmond Ofei strategically working with various sets of players to identify the right combination for success at the African Games. The training sessions are designed to hone the skills and coordination of the players, ensuring they are well-prepared for the challenges ahead.

According to the GFA website, the invited players, whose names are listed below, are expected to report to the Technical Centre at Prampram on Sunday, January 21, 2024, marking the beginning of an intensive camping period aimed at fine-tuning their abilities and fostering team cohesion.

The upcoming African Games, scheduled to take place in Accra from Friday, March 8, to Saturday, March 23, 2024, present a significant opportunity for the Black Satellites to showcase their talent on a continental stage. The training camp represents a crucial phase in the team’s journey towards achieving success in this prestigious tournament.
