In a statement shared on his X handle, Black Sheriff expressed relief over Nigeria’s loss, citing the mockery he endured from Nigerian colleagues following Ghana’s elimination from the competition in the group stage.
The rapper recounted instances where his Nigerian counterparts, including Blaqbonez and Odumodu, contacted him to taunt him after Ghana’s Black Stars were sent home from the tournament. He vowed to continue teasing Nigeria for their AFCON defeat, highlighting the competitive banter between the two countries.
“Blaqbonez called me on Facetime to laugh at me when my country’s Black Stars was sent home, the guy couldn’t stop smiling. Odumodu was on Facetime the next 3 days telling the Jeweller to make me the cheapest piece he’s ever made, And na me call am for the Jeweller o! You want me to shut up? I’m going to bed.
