Jada Pinkett Smith had a frightening encounter at her Los Angeles residence earlier this week when two individuals attempted to break into her house while she was inside, according to law enforcement sources.
The incident occurred at Jada’s Los Angeles property, where two individuals wearing hoodies climbed onto her balcony just before 8 PM. However, they were startled and fled when the “Red Table Talk” host spotted them.
Police responded to the scene, but the suspects had already fled by the time they arrived.
It remains unclear whether Jada was specifically targeted or if the incident was part of a broader trend of burglaries targeting upscale homes in the L.A. area.
Deputies filed a report for attempted burglary, and an investigation into the matter is ongoing.
Jada, who has been separated from her husband Will for several years, was reportedly alone at the time of the break-in.
Last year, Jada mentioned plans to eventually move back in with Will, but that has yet to happen.
This break-in adds to a string of recent burglaries in Los Angeles, with other victims including “Squid Game” star Lee Byung-hun, actress Lena Waithe, model Abigail Ratchford, and Hollywood icon Keanu Reeves.
