Stanbic Bank Ghana’s Enterprise Banking team has made a compassionate donation of GH¢50,000 to support a five-month-old baby with a congenital heart defect in undergoing surgery. The staff of the bank presented the cheque to the parents of the child, Mr. and Mrs. Agbedor, during the company’s end-of-year thanksgiving service held in Accra.
Mr. Eric Tsiri, Head of Enterprise Banking at Stanbic Bank, emphasized the importance of access to affordable healthcare as a basic human right and expressed the team’s commitment to supporting the couple. He expressed gratitude to the leadership and members of the Enterprise Banking team for being vessels of hope in restoring baby Jayden’s health. Mr. Tsiri expressed optimism that the donation would contribute to the manifestation of God’s destined plans for Jayden, who would play a role in Ghana’s growth in the future.
The parents, Mr. and Mrs. Agbedor, expressed their thanks to Stanbic Bank for the generous support, noting that the gesture would significantly impact their child’s life. With the donated amount, they anticipate seeing baby Jayden smile, marking a positive step toward his recovery.
