Ghanaian Amapiano sensation DJ Azonto has publicly expressed his frustration at Nigerian musician Naira Marley for using the term “Attassa” to hype his upcoming single, “Dangerous.”

The Nigerian star teased his fans on X (formerly Twitter) with a simple “Ataasaa”, but DJ Azonto, who considers himself the creator of the phrase, was not amused.

In an exclusive chat, the hitmaker behind “Fa No Fom” emphasized that “Attassa” is part of his intellectual property and brand, alongside other street hits like “Alla Woyo” and “Azonto A Confirmie.” He warned Marley and his followers against using the term without authorization, describing it as illegal and unlawful.
