A Ghanaian preacher has ignited a heated debate after insisting that monogamy is a sign of stupidity in men. Speaking boldly during a conversation on the Ewiase Mu Abrabo programme hosted by Kofi Gyimah, he argued that no man should settle for only one wife.
According to him, the idea that a man should stick to a single partner is completely flawed. He maintained that the most “reasonable” approach for males is to take several wives, claiming that anyone who chooses otherwise is acting in a foolish manner.
In his view, the rule is the exact opposite for women. He stressed that females are the ones who must commit to only one husband, while men should expand their families by taking additional spouses.
His remarks have since stirred reactions, as his message challenges widely accepted ideas about marriage and family structure in Ghanaian society.
