The Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (CTVET) has withheld the results of 112 candidates from the 2025 Certificate II Examinations. The decision follows suspicions of exam malpractice, with investigations still ongoing.
Some additional results were also held back due to administrative issues and will be released once the matters are resolved. The affected students were part of a total of 55,018 candidates, which included 40,339 males and 14,956 females who sat for the exams. Overall, 40,455 candidates achieved general passes, representing 73.5% of all registered participants.
CTVET has already released results for the May/June 2025 exams, covering Core and Elective Components, as well as for the Technician, Advanced, and Diploma levels, including former NVTI programs. Candidates are urged to verify their results online at mayjune.ctvet.gov.gh using their Index and Unique Reference Numbers.
The Certificate II Examinations test Core subjects such as English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science, Social Studies, and Entrepreneurship, alongside Elective Components focused on the students’ trade or professional specialisation.
