Prophet Ogyaba has spoken out to address the controversy surrounding his recent decision to cut the hair of a boy born with dreadlocks.
The act, which took place during a church service, sparked widespread debate and criticism.
In a statement, Prophet Ogyaba explained that his actions were based on traditional beliefs and customs.
According to him, tradition dictates that the boy should not be sent to school, and anyone who attempts to do so will face severe consequences, including death. Similarly, anyone who cuts the boy’s hair will also face death.
These deeply-held beliefs, rooted in cultural traditions, served as the basis for Prophet Ogyaba’s decision to cut the boy’s dreadlocks. He emphasized that his actions were not intended to harm the child.
