A married man with two children shared his dilemma on social media after his wife, who traveled to the UK on a successful scholarship for two years, has not returned even after four years.
The man, who prefers to remain anonymous, expressed his concern, stating that every time he asked his wife why she hadn’t returned as they agreed, she complained about various challenges she was facing overseas.
However, before the end of last year, his wife met a white man who promised to help her stay and provide a better life, on the condition that she divorces her husband and marries him.
The man’s wife sent him a divorce letter which he needs to sign to prove that they are no longer married. She urged him to comply, as through the white man, she would have more opportunities, financial stability, and the right to stay in the UK. She assured him that she would send money to support their two children. If he didn’t sign it, she warned that she might be deported at any time.
The man is torn and seeks advice from the public, uncertain about what to do.
