The money was allegedly intended for filmmaker Edem Saviour Ketti, linked to mobile money number 0558247205.
Months later, on April 2, 2024, Serwaa was contacted again by a different number requesting GHC 20,000, once more threatening to release the video. Despite making the payment, the footage was eventually made public.
The scandal has drawn attention to her former relationship with Henry Fitz (Henry Amponsah), who is believed to be at the center of the leak and is currently evading arrest. Two others implicated are Edem Saviour Ketti (29) and businessman Candylove Kwakyewaa Ababio (31).
