A woman who disrupted a wedding by objecting during the ceremony has shared her reasons for the dramatic move, sparking widespread conversation online.
The viral video shows her interrupting her ex-husband Caleb’s wedding, claiming that she was trying to save the bride from the same betrayal she endured during her marriage to him.
In her explanation, the woman revealed that Caleb had been unfaithful throughout their relationship, which eventually led to their divorce.
She called him out in strong terms, using the Yoruba phrase “Omo ale ni Caleb,” meaning “Caleb is a bastard,” to express her anger.
She claimed that Caleb had been cheating on her from the beginning of their relationship, and after discovering his infidelity, she chose to retaliate by being unfaithful herself.
“When he found out, he was throwing up, crying, doing all the nags. Don’t dish what you cannot receive,” she said, unapologetic for her actions.
She defended her decision to interrupt the wedding, insisting that her intention was to expose Caleb’s behaviour, not to harm the bride.
Addressing accusations of being a “homewrecker,” the woman dismissed them, stating, “How am I a homewrecker when I was the original? Babes, you cannot honestly wreck something that was never a home to begin with.”
She also clarified that she had no prior relationship with the bride, having met her for the first time on the day of the wedding.
Despite meeting the bride and finding her to be a “cool girl,” the woman admitted she had planned to sabotage the event regardless, as she felt compelled to expose Caleb’s actions publicly.
Her bold actions and candid remarks have sparked mixed reactions, with many people debating whether her disruption was justified or unnecessarily vengeful.
