As long as I am here, I will never forgive Shatta Wale for insulting my boss - Abena Moet

Neat FM presenter Abena Moet has firmly dismissed any notion of playing Shatta Wale’s songs on Despite Media, expressing that she has no intention of forgiving the controversial musician.

This declaration came during a broadcast when a fan suggested it was time to move past previous conflicts and start airing Shatta Wale’s music again.

However, Abena Moet made it clear that as long as she remains part of the station, Shatta Wale will not receive airtime.

Drawing from her personal principles, she compared the situation to a biblical teaching, stating that if a part of the body causes offense, it should be removed, symbolising her decision to completely cut ties with Shatta Wale.

Her colleague, Ola Michael, was more lenient in his view, expressing a willingness to forgive.

However, Abena Moet stood firm in her refusal, reiterating that no circumstance would lead her to reconsider playing Shatta Wale’s music, especially after his previous disrespect towards the station’s management.

Her remarks reflect the deep-seated animosity that continues between Shatta Wale and certain members of Despite Media following past disputes.
