Media personality Kwame Gyan passionately and urgently called for justice in the wake of the tragic East Legon accident, putting out a strong message that emphasized the importance of holding both Bishop Salifu Amoako and his underage son, Elrad, accountable for their roles in the devastating incident.
Gyan strongly criticized the Bishop for his lack of action, accusing him of willfully ignoring his son’s dangerous conduct, which directly resulted in the untimely deaths of two innocent young girls.
In his thorough analysis of the situation, Gyan meticulously outlined various critical aspects of the accident before delving deeper into each point to shed light on their significance.
Expressing deep disappointment at the Bishop’s apparent negligence, Gyan stressed the necessity of governmental intervention to ensure justice prevails and the affected families find closure.
The revelation that Elrad, a mere 16-year-old, was unlawfully driving during the fatal crash shocked many, especially considering the alarming footage circulating online that depicted him and his companions recklessly speeding down public roads as if engaged in a dangerous race.
Reports indicated that Elrad was clocked at astounding speeds ranging from 160 to 190 km/h in the residential neighborhood of East Legon on a weekend, posing an immense threat to public safety.
Expanding on the influence Bishop Amoako wielded over his son’s behavior, Gyan recounted a troubling incident in the United States where the Bishop brazenly boasted about driving vehicles in Ghana without proper license plates in Elrad’s presence.
The fact that the Bishop claimed to receive preferential treatment from law enforcement, who allegedly addressed him as ‘General,’ despite his illegal activities, only further reinforced Elrad’s blatantly delinquent tendencies.
Gyan asserted that these actions possibly indicated that the Bishop was well aware of his underage son’s frequent involvement in driving, implying a degree of complicity on the part of the Bishop.
While Elrad received medical attention following the crash, the devastating loss of life experienced by the two young girls underscored the tragedy of the situation, prompting profound sorrow among their grieving families.
Kwame Gyan made a passionate plea for ongoing public outrage until authentic justice prevails, cautioning against the mishandling of the case similar to the unresolved situation involving actor Lil Win after a fatal accident.
“As you go to bed remember this:
1. Salifu Amoako’s son is 16 years. Per our laws, he had no business driving a car.2. There are enough videos filmed by him and his idiotic friends that show that he frequently uses our roads as an F1 circuit.3. That speed he was driving at, couldn’t be anything lower than 160km/h. In fact, some even say 190km/h may not be an exaggeration. And he did that speed at EAST LEGON on a weekend! Let that sink in.4. He was there when his Dad foolishly professed in the US that in Ghana, he drives cars without number plates.5. At the same venue, he also said that despite driving cars without number plates, our Police salute him and call him General. His son was there when he said these.6. Very safe to assume that he’s known his son drives his cars despite the fact that he is under aged and shouldn’t be driving.7. That silly boy is alive and receiving excellent treatment while the two poor girls whose bodies….let me not complete this thought. Too much grief already.8. The ‘man of god’ knows too well that he has a recalcitrant son if all the tales of him having been dismissed from at least 2 schools are to be believed.I pray we sustain this level of anger until TRUE justice prevails.
PS:I do pray that we don’t see a repeat of the Lil Win case…and please don’t tell me it is in court…please!!!!!!”
