Prominent socialite Bobrisky continues to refute claims surrounding a leaked audio recording linked to a N15 million scandal involving the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The controversy escalated after activist Verydarkman released an audio clip in which Bobrisky purportedly discussed paying for special treatment while in custody, allowing him to remain in a rented apartment rather than being confined to a prison cell.
In response, Bobrisky has vehemently denied the authenticity of the audio, asserting that it is a fabrication aimed at tarnishing his reputation.
In a recent Instagram post, he reiterated his position, expressing his desire to avoid detention in the same EFCC facility where he was previously held.
He has called for a public trial, arguing that transparency would allow the world to see the truth.
Bobrisky conveyed his frustration at being targeted due to his online persona, stating that he has been informed about the dangers he faces and the schemes against him, but he refuses to be intimidated.
According to him, though there are fears about potential detainment and a second prison sentence, he trusts that justice will prevail. He indicated that he was prepared for any investigation, but it should not take place at the same EFCC office where he was previously detained and demand for an independent and open investigation so that everyone can witness the process.
He further emphasized that audio recordings can easily be manipulated, adding that anyone who disseminates altered audio should bear the consequences.
Bobrisky firmly maintains that he is not responsible for the alleged audio and is ready to confront any legal action taken against him.
“Please everyone calling to tell me the danger i am in and the plans against me should hold itnow and fu*k it. It want any freatnomore. I was been scared because of the story that EFCC Will detain me again and i will be sentenced to prison second time. God will vindicate me and for those that want to frame me up.they will be exposed by the law. I am ready for any investigation but not the same EFCC office where i was detained and any investigation should be free, no intimidation and i demand for an independent and open investigation for the world to see. You
