The atmosphere of joy and celebration at a wedding quickly dissipated when the best man took the microphone and disclosed an intimate detail: he had slept with the bride just a week before the ceremony. The revelation left guests stunned and uncertain.
The groom’s initial reaction was swift and decisive: he demanded that the marriage be canceled immediately. Despite the bride’s tearful pleas and attempts to reason with him, the groom refused to reconsider, citing betrayal and deceit as irreparable damage to their relationship.
Days passed, and tensions began to ease as the groom reflected on his hasty decision. The best man made it clear it was a prank so the groom extended an apology and expressed a willingness to revisit their plans for marriage.
However, the bride, still reeling from the shock of the revelation and the subsequent turmoil, hesitated to accept the groom’s apology. She voiced concerns about their ability to trust each other claiming that her soon to be husband may trust outsiders more than her.

“At a wedding, the best man revealed during his speech that he slept with the bride a week before the wedding which caused serious havoc as a result, the groom demanded that the marriage should be cancelled immediately. The bride begged and cried but….”
“The groom refused to listen his stance was that the wedding won’t be taking place. It took a few days before the groom could finally listen. The best man confessed that he thought it would be a great prank to say he slept with the groom’s bride during their wedding.”
“Funny enough the best man didn’t think it would be heated. He didn’t know the groom was the type that would hear the sound of a pin drop and call it a day. Few days later, the groom was apologetic to the bride with the promise of the marriage taking place but the bride refused.”
“According to the bride, he believed other people and wouldn’t even let her talk. She feared that if they should marry, he’d continue to listen to the opinion of outsiders without giving her listening ears.”
