Renowned actor Alesh Sanni has taken to Instagram to express solidarity with popular social media personality Bobrisky following reports of his imprisonment for alleged naira mutilation.
In a heartfelt post, Sanni criticized what he perceives as societal hypocrisy, particularly within the celebrity community.
In his Instagram post, Sanni questioned the moral inconsistency of individuals who readily embraced Bobrisky for various social engagements, including parties, movie promotions, and business endorsements, only to distance themselves when he encountered legal troubles.
He highlighted the irony of seeking Bobrisky’s association for personal gain while shunning him in times of adversity.
Sanni emphasized the universal vulnerability to unforeseen circumstances, urging compassion and empathy towards those facing legal challenges.
He underscored the need for solidarity and support, especially within the entertainment industry, where reputations and alliances can swiftly shift.
Closing his message with words of encouragement, Sanni extended his prayers to Bobrisky, also known as Idris Okuneye, expressing hope for his well-being amidst the ordeal.
Alesh Sanni wrote:
“Prison is not where someone should stay for even a day.. don’t know why humans are hypocritical, so we call Bobrisky for parties, to promote movies, songs grace our events, and even boost our businesses with his platform because of the lifestyle he has chosen and all. which we didn’t see as a problem or a big deal… now for what so ever reason he’s been arrested and jailed yet we au pretend as if he has never been a pan of our lives, Why are people this evil ? especially celebrities.. remember this can happen to anyone.”
“My prayers are with you Idris Okuneye …….”
