Ghanaian winger Fatawu Issahaku has given fans an intimate look at his journey back from a career-threatening ACL injury with the premiere of a one-hour documentary on October 29, 2025.
The Leicester City forward spent eight months sidelined before making a full recovery and returning to action at the start of the 2025/26 season. The documentary captures the grueling rehabilitation process, the mental and physical struggles of recovery, and his triumphant return to the pitch.
Issahaku also highlighted his off-field contributions, spending the summer in his hometown of Tamale where he organised a youth football tournament to nurture upcoming talent from northern Ghana.
The screening, held at the Weller Lounge in England, concluded with a lively Q&A session, autograph signing, and fan interaction.
Speaking on his journey, Issahaku urged fellow footballers not to lose hope after an ACL injury. “Anyone who has an ACL injury should not feel bad. It makes you stronger and a better person,” he encouraged.
Fans met him with cheers and chants, celebrating not just his talent but his resilience, dedication, and commitment to the sport.
