A Nigerian medical laboratory scientist, identified as Peace, has been left devastated after her fiancé abruptly called off their wedding just two weeks before the ceremony.
The couple had been together for five years and had previously undergone genotype testing to ensure compatibility before proceeding with wedding plans.
However, Peace’s fiancé later claimed that his genotype results had changed, leading to the shocking cancellation.
Sharing her ordeal on TikTok, Peace revealed that she had personally verified her fiancé’s genotype earlier in their relationship.
His initial test confirmed he was AA, while she had always been AS. With this assurance, they went ahead with wedding preparations, including printing invitation cards and inviting guests.
To her shock, her fiancé recently informed her that he had undergone another genotype test at a different laboratory, which revealed that he was actually AS. As a result, he insisted that they could no longer go through with the wedding.
Peace, who is well-versed in genotype testing due to her profession, accused her ex-fiancé of lying. She later discovered through mutual friends that he was allegedly planning to marry another woman soon.
Following her revelation, social media users flooded the comment section with words of support, encouraging her to stay strong and move on from the heartbreak.
