A Nigerian lady has taken a bold step in her quest for marriage by entrusting her mother with the responsibility of finding her a husband.
Frustrated with the endless “talking stage” in modern dating, she has opted for an arranged marriage instead.
In a viral post on X (formerly Twitter), she expressed her exhaustion with getting to know new people and said she now prefers to have a husband chosen for her.
“I have given my mum the go-ahead to arrange a husband for me. I can’t do it on my own anymore. She can do the talking stage and hand him over when it’s time,” she wrote.
Explaining her decision, she stated that her mother is better equipped to vet potential suitors, as people tend to be more honest with parents.
She even went as far as sending out an “official letter” via WhatsApp to inform her family of the new arrangement.
Her unusual approach has sparked a wave of reactions online, with some people supporting her decision while others questioned if skipping the dating process is wise.
