A young man has been left devastated after his fiancée destroyed his international passport and travel documents just days before his scheduled departure abroad.
Seeking legal advice, the man reached out to Barrister Atanda Olatunji, who later shared the incident on Facebook.
He revealed that he returned home to find his passport and essential travel papers torn apart by his partner, who showed no remorse for her actions.
According to the man, his fiancée had repeatedly threatened that she would not allow him to leave the country without taking her along.
She believed he was trying to abandon her after five years of being together, despite his assurances that he would make arrangements for her to join him later.
With his flight scheduled for Thursday, the man was in a state of shock and frustration. He explained that his fiancée stood her ground, daring him to take action against her.
Wanting to avoid any physical confrontation, he sought legal counsel on how to ensure she faced consequences for her actions.
The incident sparked debate online, with many offering mixed reactions.
While some sympathized with the man and advised him to pursue legal action, others questioned the dynamics of their relationship and what led to such a drastic action from the woman.
He said;
“I got back home yesterday only to discover that my fiancee has D£stroyed my international passport and other traveling Documents. “Atanda, this girl has been thr£atening me that I can’t leave her and travel 0ut without taking her along.
“She is accusing me of trying to leave her after 5 years of relationship “I have explained several times to her that i will work a way for her to join me over there and we will get married there. “Atanda, my flight is on Thursday and she just destroyed my international passport and other travel D0cuments. “And she did not even run away but standing her ground that I can’t do anything. “Atanda, I don’t want to touch her so I won’t kpai someone but I want to do something”.
“Pls Atanda, just tell me the whole L£gal ways I can go through to Ja’iL her. “She must pay dearly for this. “I need a response before I go out of control.”
