She would visit Balogun Market to purchase items at a fraction of the cost and resell them for a significant profit.
She smartly managed her earnings by dividing her profits into two: one part went into savings, while the other funded her daily needs.
Though she was approached by men during this time, Nons emphasized that none of them were involved in financing her life.
She clarified that while she was in a relationship, it wasn’t one where a man was financially supporting her in exchange for anything.
Her breakthrough came when Nons decided to dive into content creation. As her social media following grew, so did her acting opportunities, with her pay eventually rising to a more substantial sum.
This was a turning point in her career, and soon after, her brand as “Ada Jesus” gained traction.
With this new identity, Nons attracted endorsement deals and was able to earn her first $20,000. This was further boosted by the success of her YouTube series, Love Show.
Through it all, Nons Miraj has proven that financial independence is achievable without relying on anyone else.
