A 30-year-old professional classroom teacher and final year university student from Ghana took to social media to seek advice on his views regarding virginity and relationships.
In his post, he revealed that his upbringing instilled in him the belief that sex should only occur within marriage.
As a result, he finds it difficult to pursue relationships with women who are not virgins, as they seem morally questionable to him.
Despite being aware of circumstances such as rape and defilement, he struggles to reconcile his beliefs with the reality of modern relationships.

“I am 30yrs, a professional classroom teacher and a final year student(upgrading) in one of the universities in Gh. How I was brought up from my home taught/teaches me , there shouldn’t be sex before marriage, So till now every lady who isn’t married but not a virgin looks like a sinner(not a good person) to me….I have then met couple of ladies to settle down with but as soon as they tell me they are not virgins this becomes a big turn off for me…I know of misfortunes(rape, defilement) I want your rational audience to apparently let me know of how it is to have a multiple body counts as a lady and also being/living a chaste or pure life ..I will be at the comment section NB: I’m aware of age catching up and the rest Waiting…..”
