A third-year Social Work student at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Azoumaro Vanessa Salese, is gearing up to make history by attempting a Guinness World Record for the longest video game marathon playing games in the Ghost of Tsushima series.
The record attempt is scheduled to take place on Friday, July 26, 2024, at the Republic Hall Common area on campus, starting at 8am.
Vanessa plans to play for an impressive 48 hours non-stop, aiming to set the record in a category that currently has no holder.
Vanessa has extended an invitation to students, faculty, and the general public to come and support her during the marathon. Spectators can cheer her on, witness the record attempt, and enjoy the gaming experience.
If successful, Vanessa will not only achieve a remarkable feat but also put KNUST on the global map. The event promises to be an exciting and entertaining experience, showcasing the student’s dedication, skill, and passion for gaming.
Mark your calendars and head to Republic Hall Common area on July 26 to witness history in the making!
It would be recalled that Chef Smith recently surprised and shocked Ghanaians after faking his GWR Certificate. In fact GWR confirmed that he never applied for a cooking marathon though Ghanaians and the world saw him cook for hours. Smith has apologised for his action.
