Ghanaian media personality, Kwame Nkrumah Tikese, has strongly criticized Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, following a viral video that captured the minister speaking harshly to a fire service officer during the recent Adum fire outbreak.
The fire, which ravaged parts of the Adum business district, led to intense public discussions, particularly regarding the response of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS).
In the widely circulated footage, Dr. Amoakohene was seen berating a fire officer, seemingly expressing frustration over the handling of the crisis.
While some Ghanaians have praised the minister for taking a firm stance, others, including Kwame Nkrumah Tikese, believe his approach was unnecessary and disrespectful.
The media personality, speaking on his show, did not hold back in his criticism, stating that the regional minister’s actions were out of line.
According to Tikese, even if there were issues with the fire service’s response, there was a better way for the minister to address the situation rather than publicly scolding an officer who was simply doing his job.
