Lady in Canada Dragged Out by Police After Brother Sells Her Property

A bitter family feud between Nigerian siblings living in Canada has gone viral online, after a 22-year-old woman accused her 17-year-old brother of selling off her belongings and getting her evicted with the help of local police.

The drama unfolded on TikTok, where the woman narrated a shocking chain of events that began with her younger brother allegedly disposing of several of her personal items without her permission. Among them was a scooter she claimed to have purchased for $700, which he reportedly sold for just $100.

Things took a more serious turn when police got involved. Despite the woman explaining her side of the story, she said officers told her to leave the apartment. Feeling wronged and betrayed, she has now declared her intention to pursue legal action against her brother.

In one video, she expressed disbelief that her brother referred to her as “the criminal” while speaking to the authorities. She also shared that she had been through serious health challenges in late 2024, which left her jobless and unable to pay rent.

According to her, she had left town in February to seek employment in Toronto, trusting a close friend to stay in her room and help with rent during her absence. Meanwhile, she said her father had been covering her brother’s rent. Upon returning home, she discovered that her belongings were gone and her brother had taken over.

She claimed she never gave permission for any of her items to be sold and was devastated to learn that her brother had taken advantage of her absence. The loss of the scooter, she noted, was particularly painful given its value and her financial state.

The police, however, reportedly sided with the brother’s version of events, instructing her to leave the premises despite her pleas. The video has since sparked intense reactions across social media, with users divided over who was right or wrong in the messy situation.

As opinions flood in, many have criticized both siblings for allowing a private family issue to spiral out into public and legal chaos, while others questioned how the police determined who had the right to the apartment.
