A Nigerian couple is grappling with unimaginable sorrow after losing all three of their children in a tragic lightning strike during a heavy downpour.
The heartbreaking incident was shared by Caphas Nkadum, a close friend and associate of the family, who expressed deep sympathy for the grieving father, Elder Emmanuel Phiri, a dedicated servant of God.
Nkadum wrote about the tragedy online, revealing the heart-wrenching news that the lightning strike claimed the lives of the couple’s children in the midst of the storm.
His message conveyed the overwhelming pain the family is now enduring: “MY BROTHER AND MY FELLOW SERVANT OF GOD ELDER EMMANUEL PHIRI, THIS IS HEAVY FOR YOU TO CARRY. MY FRIEND HAS LOST HIS THREE BELOVED CHILDREN IN A LIGHTNING STRIKE AFTER THE HEAVY RAINS.”
He added, “MY FAMILY MOURNS WITH YOU, DEAR FRIEND. ALL YOUR KIDS ARE GONE. 😭😭😭😭😭.”
The incident has left the couple, along with their community, in deep mourning as they come to terms with the devastating loss.
