A woman identified as Ante Ama Mansah has opened up about the emotional and financial hardship she is enduring after her husband allegedly walked out on their family due to the gender of their child.
In a candid discussion on the show Lawson Afisem hosted by MFK, Ante Ama recounted that during her pregnancy, her husband made it clear he would not be financially responsible for a female child. Despite not providing a clear explanation for his stance, she says he stuck to his word once the baby was born.
Unfortunately, she gave birth to a girl, and as feared, her husband reportedly distanced himself and completely refused to provide any form of support.
The new mother shared how this has taken a toll on her life, stating that not only is she struggling alone, but she has also lost her marriage entirely due to her daughter’s gender.
