A Nigerian woman has raised eyebrows online after detailing a bizarre and inappropriate interaction she had with a man who initially presented himself as a professional painter.
Sharing her experience on the X platform, formerly known as Twitter, the woman—via the handle @dammiedammie35—posted a recording of a phone conversation she had with the man shortly after their initial meeting. According to her, the man approached her with claims of being an artist and painter, prompting her to exchange contacts with him as she was planning a home project.
But what followed, she says, took her completely off guard.
Instead of discussing paint colours or artwork, the man called her and veered into a sexually explicit proposal. In the call, which she recorded, the man described in graphic detail his supposed prowess in pleasuring women and claimed he often got paid for his services. He even offered to provide his “services” for free, stating that her comfort and satisfaction were more important than any payment.
Shocked, the woman reminded him that their interaction was strictly professional and rooted in her plans to repaint her house by year’s end. She never expected such a disturbing turn in the conversation.
The incident sparked outrage and debate across social media. While some users supported the woman for exposing the man’s misconduct, others questioned her motives, suggesting the recording may have been staged or incomplete.
One user expressed skepticism, saying it was suspicious that her camera was already rolling before the conversation turned inappropriate. Others speculated that the man might have misinterpreted earlier signals, though many condemned him outright for his indecent proposal.
As the video continued to circulate, some users used the moment to discuss broader issues about boundaries, professional conduct, and the disturbing rise in people offering sexual services through deceptive approaches.
Though opinions are divided, one thing is clear—the incident has reignited online conversations about consent, trust, and the alarming ways some individuals misuse ordinary encounters for personal or sexual gain.
