Ghanaian media personality Sally Mann has opened up about her personal interactions with the late musician Daddy Lumba, offering a critical perspective on his character.
In a recent interview monitored by Gh Page, Mann explained that her close acquaintance with Lumba allowed her to see sides of him that were not visible to the general public. She attributed part of the ongoing controversy surrounding Akosua Serwaa and Odo Bronii to his behavior.
According to Mann, those who were close to the musician experienced his selfish and manipulative tendencies firsthand. She suggested that the late artist’s reputation and popularity often shielded him from public scrutiny, with few willing to speak candidly about his flaws.
Mann emphasized that Lumba’s charm and persuasive words often concealed his true intentions, particularly in relationships, leaving many unaware of his deceitful tendencies. She believes this explains why only a handful of people openly discussed his shortcomings while he was alive.
