Ghanaian Augustine Kofi Poku has boldly recounted his terrifying story of being attacked with acid by his ex-girlfriend’s lover, even though he has shown her a lot of support.
Augustine talked about his experience with his ex-partner in an interview with GHPage monitored by News & Vibes, noting that they were secondary school friends. Her family troubles caused her to drop out, though, and her academic support ended.
Augustine’s success in Dubai allowed him to generously provide her with the financial support she needed to finish her schooling. Their relationship suffered as a result of her adultery, even though he made sacrifices, and they eventually broke up.
They had a brief reconciliation prior to Augustine’s scheduled departure from Ghana, notwithstanding their split. However, she withheld his passport after an argument, only days before he was supposed to leave, which caused his trip arrangements to be postponed.
Sadly, she planned a terrifying assault on Augustine a few days later. Disguised as a cab driver, she sent her lover to his house, whereupon he callously threw acid on him.
Augustine was left gravely hurt and traumatized by this heinous act of violence, which brought to light the terrible effects of unsolved disputes and relational betrayals.
