Transgender Bobrisky who parades himself as a woman and rebukes those who call him a man has admitted in court that he is a man.
The popular crossdresser was arrested for naira mutilation.
Though it was speculated that he could be made to pay a fine instead of a jail term, the judge surprised many by announcing that he has been sentenced to 6 months imprisonment.
Bobrisky had earlier apologised to the judge in a bid to get a reduced sentence but to no avail. He even said eh would use his social media platform to advise his followers.
Bobrisky gave an explanation of why he desired to be called a lady on Instagram last year.
Bobrisky claimed that he decided to change his gender after deciding that a woman would be a better fit for him.
