Richie Mensah, CEO of Lynx Entertainment, has advised upcoming creatives to have realistic expectations about the entertainment industry. Speaking on The Peswa Podcast, he stressed that what is often seen as overnight success usually results from years of consistent effort and dedication.
He pointed out that the entertainment sector is extremely competitive, and only a small percentage of individuals achieve significant recognition or financial success. Unlike professions such as accounting or farming, where moderate performance can still generate a steady income, entertainment does not provide the same security for those who are not among the top performers.
Mensah explained that the divide between highly successful entertainers and those who struggle is sharp, meaning aspiring artists must be prepared to work relentlessly to make an impact. He urged upcoming musicians to approach the industry with determination, discipline, and long-term commitment to increase their chances of success.
