Some netizens have reacted to the arrest of transgender Bobrisky. @Seunolotekuyi a social media user has pleaded with the EFCC of Nigeria to reveal the gender of Bobrisky.
He said, “Dear @officialefcc The people deserves to know if Suspect is Male or Female
Thank you.”
Bobrisky, a well-known celebrity in Nigeria, is a transsexual woman who was detained on suspicion of handling cash improperly.
Authorities claim that Bobrisky, whose true name is Idris Okuneye, mishandled and damaged money during a Lagos movie premiere.
She reportedly “sprayed” the money, tossing them into the air in a customary wedding and celebration ritual custom in Nigeria. But since the notes wind up on the ground where people can walk on them, this activity is illegal.
