In a heart-wrenching turn of events, Police Inspector Stephen Enang tragically passed away shortly after celebrating Arsenal’s 3–0 victory over Real Madrid.
The incident took place shortly after the final whistle of the match, during a casual viewing at a center on Abang-Asang Street in Calabar.
Enang, who was stationed at the Akim Police Division, had been in high spirits throughout the match.
A close friend who was with him during the game described how he was cheering joyfully with every goal Arsenal scored. His excitement was palpable, as he jumped up with enthusiasm after each of the three goals.
However, after the game ended and the crowd began to disperse, his friend noticed something was wrong. Enang, who had been so energetic throughout the game, was suddenly unmoving.
