Highlife artiste Kofi Nti has shed light on the long-discussed relationship between the late Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba, and fellow legend Kojo Antwi, revealing that the two musicians had a far more cordial bond than many believed.
In an interview posted on Instagram on November 19, 2025, Kofi Nti addressed long-standing rumours that the two icons were not on friendly terms before Lumba’s passing. He explained that the supposed tension often discussed in entertainment circles was not rooted in real conflict but was part of a deliberate approach the two musicians used to keep public interest high. According to him, they regularly interacted warmly whenever they crossed paths, giving no indication of animosity.
Kofi Nti also revealed that Kojo Antwi played an important behind-the-scenes role when Daddy Lumba was preparing to set up his media platform, DL FM. Antwi’s guidance and involvement reportedly helped Lumba advance the project. Kofi Nti added that Lumba held deep admiration for Kojo Antwi, and that respect was mutual.
The musician’s account now offers fresh clarity on a topic that has circulated within the industry for years, presenting a different picture from the narrative of rivalry often assumed by the public.
