A Nigerian woman has taken to social media to reveal a distressing saga involving a late car dealer and his wife, accusing them of swindling her and a friend out of a total of ₦90 million.
In 2024, the woman entrusted ₦70 million to the now-deceased car dealer to secure a luxury vehicle. Confident in his reputation, she also referred a friend who paid ₦20 million for a separate car purchase.
Unbeknownst to the women, the dealer was deeply in debt and struggling with severe personal issues, including suicidal thoughts.
Instead of using the funds to fulfill the car orders, the dealer reportedly diverted the money to clear his outstanding debts and to open a gold business for his wife.
Tragically, the dealer ended his own life shortly after these transactions.
Following his death, the woman reached out to the dealer’s widow to recover their money but was met with refusal and coldness. According to the woman, the wife blocked her after being confronted about the ₦70 million owed and the additional ₦20 million taken from her friend.
The widow’s refusal to engage has added further pain to the victims as they seek justice and restitution.
