Speaking at the Stronger Together Women’s Health Conference hosted by Adwoa Amofa Osei, the broadcaster opened up about her personal struggles before finally welcoming her son in January 2025. She described a painful journey marked by miscarriage, a failed pregnancy, irregular ovulation, and heavy dependence on fertility treatment.

According to her, while the medical issues were draining, the judgment and constant questioning from society were often even harder to bear. She emphasized that insensitive remarks and repeated questions only deepen the pain of women silently dealing with infertility.

Her appeal comes against the backdrop of years of public scrutiny over her personal life. Earlier this year, she disclosed on her Gee O’Clock show that she had been separated for three years and divorced for two, a revelation that sparked more attention on her marital and maternal status.

Reflecting on that period, MzGee said it often felt as though people were waiting for her time to “expire,” as conversations around marriage and childbirth trailed her into her late thirties. She stressed that having a supportive partner who understands the journey can make all the difference.
