One of the investigations focused on a series of contracts between SML and the GRA. These agreements were designed to improve revenue tracking across the petroleum and mineral sectors, but concerns were raised about the integrity of the arrangements. The OSP has completed its review and is expected to announce next steps soon.

In a separate case, the Gaming Commission came under scrutiny for its procurement process, particularly regarding a contract awarded to Turfsport Ghana Limited. The investigation has led to a restitution offer from those involved, which the Special Prosecutor has accepted under the provisions of Ghana’s anti-corruption law. The terms of the settlement will be submitted to the High Court for formal adoption.
