UK-based Nigerian content creator and TikTok income coach Precious Ubani has issued a warning to her followers after discovering several fraudulent social media accounts pretending to be her. These fake profiles are reportedly attempting to deceive users with scams involving cryptocurrency and messaging apps.
Ubani, whose online presence spans TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms, has seen her brand grow rapidly, which appears to have attracted cybercriminals. The impersonators have been sending messages and creating pages in her name, aiming to defraud unsuspecting followers.
Fans have reported interactions with the fake accounts, expressing concern and sharing near-miss experiences of being scammed. Despite the rise in impersonation attempts, Ubani’s community continues to support her and celebrate her journey from caregiver to digital marketer and online coach.
She has advised followers to verify her official accounts and remain alert to suspicious messages. Ubani emphasized that she does not solicit money, offer cryptocurrency deals through direct messages, or operate mentorship programs via unsolicited communications, urging fans to report and block any accounts that falsely use her identity.
