A centenarian in Nigeria has left her family—and the internet—stunned after reportedly coming back to life just hours after being pronounced dead.
The unusual story was shared on TikTok by user Sissy Kaffy Empire, who identified herself as the great-granddaughter of the woman in question. She explained that news of the elderly woman’s death, who is said to be over 100 years old, had already been circulated among family members through voice notes on WhatsApp. Conversations about burial plans and contributions had begun.
But to everyone’s shock, the elderly matriarch reportedly showed signs of life shortly after, turning what had been a moment of mourning into one of utter disbelief.
