A Ghanaian man has shared a heartbreaking story of how his romantic partner deceived him out of GH¢50,000. The man had been in a relationship with the woman, whom he believed was the love of his life, and had plans to marry her.
Believing in her potential and wanting to support her entrepreneurial dreams, he invested GH¢50,000 in her business venture, which was more than double the initial amount she requested. However, shortly after receiving the money, she blocked him on all social media platforms and her phone, effectively ending their relationship.
The man was left devastated, feeling betrayed and used. He took to social media to share his story, warning others about the dangers of blind trust in relationships. His post has sparked a mix of reactions, with some offering words of encouragement and others advising him to report the incident to the authorities.
He added that this is one of the reasons Ghanaian ladies are dying as they are dishonest and the experience has made him lose interest in marriage.
He had good intentions towards her and he believed that if the business survives, their future children will also benefit from it as it will be a family business but now he has been scammed.
The heartbroken man however said that as far as he has life, he can always make more money through hardwork.
