The founder of Action Chapel International, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, has talked about his spiritual path, emphasizing his early encounters with deliverance programs.
Archbishop Duncan-Williams claimed to be able to conduct deliverance and exorcise demons when he first started his ministry. But he admitted that at first he didn’t recognize the supernatural power, instead attributing these events to his own ability.
During a sermon in his church, he acknowledged that he had learned the value of giving God the credit for all of his ministry’s successes through divine revelation.
During deliverance sessions, Archbishop Duncan-Williams recalled seeing a variety of manifestations in the early years of his ministry. He acknowledged experiencing a sense of power and said that these feelings were brought on by his anointing.
Archbishop Duncan-Williams experienced heavenly insight and understood that the power of Jesus’ name, rather than his own abilities, was responsible for these manifestations. He underlined the value of being humble and giving credit where credit is due. In closing, Archbishop Duncan-Williams urged his people to embrace humility in their spiritual pursuits and ask for pardon for any arrogant attributions.
