An alleged kidnapper pretending to be a commercial motorcycle operator has been captured in Ogun State while attempting to abduct a primary school student. The dramatic incident was filmed and later uploaded to TikTok, where it quickly went viral and sparked public outrage.
According to reports, the man posed as an ordinary okada rider but was intercepted by residents after he allegedly tried to snatch the young boy. The video shows a crowd gathering around the suspect, restraining him as he attempted to flee the scene. Despite mounting anger from bystanders, some members of the crowd urged restraint and discouraged mob violence.
The young victim, visibly distressed, recounted how the suspect tried to use a substance to cover his nose—an apparent attempt to knock him unconscious.
