A 53-year-old farmer, Addo Wayo, was discovered dead under a bridge at Awuteykope in the North Tongu District of the Volta Region, raising serious concern among locals and his relatives. Wayo, reportedly on his way to the farm, was found by passers-by and family members.
Due to delays in police response, residents and relatives took the body to a private hospital morgue at Asikuma. The slow reaction from law enforcement sparked disappointment and frustration, highlighting gaps in emergency response capabilities in rural areas.
