A Nigerian woman living in the UK has turned to social media to expose a fellow Nigerian man who she claims has failed to repay a £1,500 loan she gave him back in 2022. According to her, the money was intended to help him cover school fees, but despite her repeated efforts over the years, he allegedly hasn’t fulfilled his promise to pay her back.
The woman, identified by her handle @PrincessUfuoma_, posted a video showing the man and detailed how he had been avoiding her. She claimed that even mutual acquaintances tried to intervene and convince him to settle the debt, but nothing changed. Frustrated, she decided to take the matter public.
She named the man as Ajisafe Laolu Cornelius, also known as Ola of Pompey, and insisted that the outstanding debt had dragged on unnecessarily. She later shared that he had repaid a portion of the money, but still owed £500. Rather than clearing the balance, she alleged that he visited her residence in a confrontational manner and issued threats.
A short video of their exchange was also shared on her timeline, which she said was the only footage she managed to capture during the incident. In the clip, the man could be heard reacting defiantly to her demands.
The incident quickly drew attention online, sparking a wave of reactions from users who commented on both the debt and the alleged intimidation. While some sided with the woman and urged the man to pay the remaining amount, others criticized the public callout and warned that such actions might have legal consequences.
The story continues to circulate widely as more people weigh in on issues of trust, financial responsibility, and accountability within the diaspora community.
