Ten people have sustained varying degrees of injuries after a three-vehicle collision at Kubease along the Konongo-Kumasi Highway.
The vehicles included an STC Bus with registration number GS 7045-22, a Volvo truck with registration number GN 4093-21, and a Benz Atego truck with registration number GR 7972-17.
Personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service reported at the scene of the accident on the night of March 5 to find the STC driver trapped with nine other injured.
The driver was extricated and transported for medical attention alongside the others at the Asante Akyem Central Municipal Hospital and Ejisu Government Hospital.
“The vehicles suffered damage, with the STC Bus’s front, Volvo truck’s cowl, and Benz Atego truck’s driver’s side affected.”
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
