A young Kenyan woman named Esther is said to have shockingly poured acid on her boyfriend Kelvin Pogo, claiming he had cheated on her.
It turned out later on, though, that her concerns were unwarranted.
Esther, 28, is accused of attacking her 29-year-old boyfriend Kelvin Pogo with a liter of sulphuric acid that she bought online.
Kelvin’s face and body bear life-altering scars from the attack, which significantly impact his day-to-day activities.
Kelvin described the terrifying event and voiced his shock and bewilderment that he was being attacked by the lady he loves.
When Kelvin was resting on the couch, Esther allegedly poured additional acid over his face and torso, aggravating the wounds he had already sustained. This is how vicious the attack became.
Kelvin escaped their apartment during the event and screamed for assistance. Thankfully, a concerned bystander stepped in and made arrangements for Kelvin to get emergency medical help.
