27 Vehicles, 22 Spare Parts Shops Ravaged in Sofoline Magazine Fire Outbreak

The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has reported damage to 27 vehicles and 22 spare parts shops at Sofoline Magazine New Site following a fire that broke out on Sunday evening.

The fire reported around 8 pm was brought under control at 2151 hours and fully extinguished at 2246 hours by the Bremang and Twedie Fire Stations.

“In total, 27 vehicles and 22 metal containers, together with their contents, were completely destroyed.”

According to the GNFS, there were no casualties.

An investigation into the cause of the fire is currently underway.
