Authorities in Ghana have sentenced two Nigerian women to a combined 18 years in prison over their involvement in a cross-border operation allegedly linked to the trafficking and exploitation of young Nigerian women.
According to details reaching news sources, the two women were accused of luring attractive young women from Nigeria into Ghana under false pretenses, only to force them into sex work upon arrival.
