A man employed as a security guard to protect a community has found himself in handcuffs after being caught stealing from the very people he was hired to safeguard.
The incident gained attention after a video surfaced on TikTok, capturing the guard being escorted into a building by other individuals. The caption that accompanied the video read: “Ole, you were hired to secure the streets but ended up stealing people’s things and chickens.”
In the video, the disgraced guard, clearly restrained and handcuffed, is seen seated on the floor, looking subdued as residents gathered around. Reports suggest he had been stealing not just poultry but also personal belongings from residents under the cover of his role as a night watchman.
The betrayal has sparked outrage online and within the local community, with many calling for tighter background checks and supervision of private security workers.
